We are looking forward to seeing everyone on the fields!

Registration

Regular registration for the fall season runs from May 1 – June 23 for Grade 2 – Grade 8.  Regular registration for Microsoccer closes on August 1 and for HS Rec on August 15.

Regular registration for the spring season runs from January 1 – February 15 for Grade 2 – Grade 8.  Regular registration for the Microsoccer spring season closes on March 7.    There is no High School Recreational program in the spring.

Registering during the regular registration period guarantees that you will be placed on a team (see below) and, subject to team formation policies, gives players priority in terms of requests for coaches or teammates.

Registration remains open until our teams are full so if your child would like to play, please complete a registration no matter what the date. Once our teams are full, we will post this notification on the website and open a waiting list.

Note that we do our best to place all players who register during the regular registration periods but this is dependent on having enough coaches sign up.  In the rare event (it has only happened twice in many years) that we cannot recruit enough coaches, we will do our best to provide options for those affected players with other clubs and will fully refund their SWSC registration fees.

For more detailed information, please see the registration pages for your player’s grade:  Microsoccer, Grade 2-8, or HSRec.

Registration fees for the spring areas follows.

Microsoccer (Kindergarten/Grade 1): TBD

Grades 2-8: TBD

HSRec:  N/A

If finances are a challenge, we ask that you first check if funds are available through the THPRD Family Assistance program.  If this is not an option, we do have club scholarships available.  Please email the registrar at registrar@somersetwestsoccer.org for instructions on obtaining a club scholarship.

Uniforms

Grade 2-Grade 8:  Grade 2-Grade 8 players do not receive a uniform from the club.  Returning players can use the uniform you purchased for a previous season.  New players will need to purchase a jersey for your player(s) from Tursis, a local soccer store which is used by several of our THJSL clubs.  Our color scheme (blue/gold) remains the same and your players will be able to use their purchased uniforms for multiple years.  And, you can select the number that you want. Only the jersey is required but you can also purchase shorts and socks.  For returning players, you are welcome to use the yellow socks you received previously.

We highly recommend going to the store and trying on the uniform before purchasing.  You can also order online but until you know the correct sizing, it is likely better to go to the store.  The jerseys are dry-fit Nike shirts.

Microsoccer will continue to receive a t-shirt or jersey from the club for the Spring 2025 season.
